The House
I love the Medieval times! And I wanted so bad to create a family of medieval roots ( mine are not that great and not at all related to knights and damsels, but with medieval merchants between Servia and Italy ) to call it mine. We are far from the medieval days, so I talked with my friends and together we created a kin of our own. We are very close, you see, and we all come from troubled families. So we decided to be a "family" - now with a crest, a story and even an anthem (I was supposed to write the lyrics, but I didn't have time yet)!
First we tried to call ourselves with an Scottish surname, like McCarr, McIntosh and so on. But Camille said no way. It reminded her of McDonald's! OK, so Luis had the one million dollars idea, and our clan was named the Locus Pocus. I found our crest at a very good Medieval clip art archive named Clip Art Castle. It's a lion, because lions represent braveness - and boy, we are peaceful, but don't you dare messing with us. The motto is "Once Together, Together Forever", to make the togetherness look clear since the start. We even made a Latin translarion to the motto, comme il fault -"Unio Nunc, Unite Semper"
We are trying to host a party for all the members of the clan soon. There's going to be a karaoke contest and some games by Berrini. Our main trouble is to raise enough money to pay the karaoke machine's rent. As for food and drink, everyone brings a little bit and things will be fine. We meet almost every Sunday to watch TV, eat some snacks, and laugh at the others. Sometimes we play cards, sometimes someone brings an acoustic guitar. We are very tight, you know. Very close. Like a clan, or the family that God didn't let all have.
